The annual British Gurkhas Nepal (BGN) health fair was held in Kathmandu on 14 November 2025. The aim was to promote a positive awareness of a healthy living and lifestyle for all personnel and family members. The event was a good opportunity for consultations between experts and serving personnel, families and civilian staff on primary screenings, education on practical self-care techniques and ways to identify potential health risks.

Expressing his gratitude, Colonel Dan Rex MVO (Commander BGN), thanked and credited the success of the event to external support of:
- Nepal Traffic Police Range, Satdobato
- Unity in Health Nepal
- Smileweavers Healthy Smiles Dental Clinic
- Clinic One
- Kinesiology Physiotherapy
- The British School
- Mr Sunil Karmacharya (Sound Healing Therapist)
The activity was organised by Warrant Officer Class One Mahesh Palungwa (Regimental Sergeant Major BGN), with support from the BGN Medical Centre, in alignment with the Army Health Promotion Programme.
At the end of the event, Lance Corporal Tirtha Tamang also had the opportunity to hand over funds he had recently raised for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
