On 7 February 2025, the 274 new recruits proudly participated in their Attestation parade in front of Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, in Pokhara.

The following day, Captain Surendra Tamang (Training Officer), organized an educational visit to the Gurkha Memorial Museum for the recruits.

This visit provided them with a valuable opportunity to explore the history and legacy of the Gurkhas, ensuring they understand the importance of preserving and upholding the Brigade of Gurkhas and the British Army’s proud traditions.
