12 personnel from 10 Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment (QOGLR) and across 101 Operational Sustainment Brigade have completed the Small Uncrewed Aircraft System (sUAS) Operator Course. This is a significant step in strengthening the Brigade’s operational effectiveness and combat readiness.

Led by Sergeant Sidartha Gurung, Senior Operator of 10 QOGLR, and supported by Corporal Mingma Sherpa and Sergeant Chhabi Pun, the course delivered comprehensive training in hands‑on sUAS operation, tactical flying, and real‑time surveillance. Their expertise and professionalism ensured every participant gained the confidence, competence, and technical understanding required to operate effectively in today’s complex battlespace.
This achievement marks an important enhancement to the Brigade’s lethality, precision, and adaptability, reinforcing its ability to maintain advantage on an ever‑evolving battlefield. By integrating cutting‑edge capabilities such as sUAS into our operational framework, the Brigade continues to position itself at the forefront of modern defence.
