Gurkha Company (Sittang), alongside Royal Hospital Chelsea pensioners, took part in the Liberation Day parade on Guernsey Island on 9 May 2025. It was a particularly special occasion, marking the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Guernsey Island since 1945.
The team from Gurkha Coy Sittang was led by Captain Cholanath Limbu, accompanied by nine other members. The event was highlighted by a visit from Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, representing His Majesty the King. A 21-gun salute was conducted to commemorate the day, which concluded with a ceremonial cavalcade.
