Rifleman Ronal Lawati and Private Bikal Tamang organised a charity event entitled “Little is More – Doko Race” on 6 December 2025 at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst in support of Project KAIDA, the redevelopment project for The Gurkha Museum in Winchester.
The aim was to raise awareness and funds to support the modernisation of the Museum, ensuring it remains a world-class institution that appropriately recognises and preserves the legacy and continuing contribution of the Gurkhas to Britain, both historically and in the present day.
The event programme included a traditional Doko race, a fun run, and community engagement activities, accompanied by a Gurkha curry lunch. Total of £1,680.86 was raised through this charitable initiative, with all proceeds dedicated to Project KAIDA.
